A roster of nine artists, plus guest spots, works at Estuary, a Brooklyn studio offering bespoke contemporary tattooing with respect for traditional methods across a range of styles and price points. Lillin has tattooed since 2009 and full time for over 10 years. Another artist tattoos illustrative black and grey, using both fine lines and bold ones, and has tattooed in Brooklyn since 2016, while Reiley has tattooed in NYC since 2019 with fine line, black and grey and illustrative work inspired by dark fantasy and medieval imagery. One artist moves from illustrative to abstract to ornamental black and grey subjects with a focus on natural forces, plants and animals.
