Maison Mono

Maison Mono pairs a tattoo and piercing studio with an art space, a gallery calendar of exhibitions and a cafe. It opened in 2023 in Brooklyn and also has a Boston location. Tattooing here is built around consultation, and the artists work across fine line, illustrative and custom compositions rather than repeating fixed designs. The piercing menu covers single piercings, tailored piercings, ear curation with jewelry change, nostril and septum, bellybutton, eyebrow and nipple piercings, plus check-ups and downsizing. Tattooing is treated as a quiet collaboration between artist and client rather than a transaction, in a space with contemporary art and curated objects.
