About East Side Ink
One of the older shops in the city, East Side Ink first opened in 1992, when tattooing was still illegal, and drew bikers and hard-core body-art fans from the start. In 2007 Josh Lord partnered with Yadira Mendez-Firvida and Jen Terban-Hertell to carry it on. It remains a custom shop with no flash on the walls, committed to one-of-a-kind pieces. Laser tattoo removal and microblading are also offered. Payment is cash only. Rated 4.7 from 147 Google reviews, 132 of them five stars and 7 one star. Microblading is described as a permanent cosmetic tattoo that reconstructs the eyebrow. Visiting artists rotate through, and merch and gift cards are sold. The shop is on the second floor. Laser removal helps clients clear older tattoos.
